Unlocking Your True Potential Once and For All.
It’s never too late to reach your truest and grandest potential. We create these lively imaginary limitations in our minds that block us from really seeing who we are and what we are completely capable of becoming. Before we know it, we’ve invented and invited our imagination to create our reality.
We throw out excuses before our feet even hit the floor in the morning: “I’m too old.” “I don’t have the degree.” “I don’t have enough money.” “I don’t have the time.” “It’s way too self-indulgent.” “I’ll never succeed at it.” “I’m too tired.” “My city is lame.” “I’m overweight.” “I have kids.”
No matter what the case is, if you sit and wallow in the excuse pool for too long you end up dwelling on the obstacles and let crystal clear opportunities pass you right by. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a hankering that just popped up or has been patient and steady for years. When that hankering happens, please please listen to it.
We desperately need people in the workforce (not to mention, the world!) who feel of service and love what they do. You can love what you do and still have days that frustrate you or are incredibly challenging. They are not mutually exclusive. You are not meant to trudge through life in a weighted fog. We have created a really wacky collective belief system that is doing a real number on our mental and physical states.
It goes something like this: If we are not completely and utterly exhausted at the end of the day then we aren’t productive. If we are actually happy with what we are doing then we are being selfish. No ma’am. That is absolutely false advertising at its finest.
The key is to develop the skills you need and deepen the strengths that you have, so that you can manifest what you want. Positive thinking alone won’t do you much good. You need clear and achievable goals that you act on. Striving for your potential allows you to be more content in your job. The better you feel, the more we all benefit. (So, thank you!) The more people who actually enjoy waking up in the morning and going to their place of work, naturally cause an incredible decrease in tragic events and paralyzing fear. Depression and Anxiety, the dynamic duo, melt away because you actually feel like you are part of something – that you’ve been seen.
We all want to be seen. All you need is one person to start it up: Yourself.
If you need help, advice, or understanding then all you need is one more person. A friend, co-worker, WERC staff member, spouse, parent, or a pet. That’s it. Two total beings to help you clear the muck and find the way.
Listen, it may even be a hobby that you’ve put off for years. Running a race. Writing a book. Planting a garden. Taking a class. Fine. Go for it. We need more joyful people in the world. It’s more essential now than ever!
WERC is always here to help you find your true path. You’ve got this!
