2016 WERC Awards Luncheon

DSCN3301-1024Thank you, Thank you, Thank You… to our sponsors and everyone who attended and supported our 2016 Awards Luncheon! It was a great success and an important fundraiser that helps support the services we provide.

The women we serve can best express the results of the training and one-on-one assistance WERC provides – here is an example of one of the comments we received: “I want to thank you for your great job helping women to prepare for successful employment placement. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in the Professional Pathways training. I found a job the same day I graduated from the training. I had a few job interviews before the training that did not have a positive outcome. However, after all the preparation and practice during the class, I was able to feel more confident and secure for the job interview, and as a result, I got the job. On top of that, the computer class was the best. I utilize the computer skills I learned every day in my new job. I hope your program continues to help many women like me to get back in the workforce. – Cristiana
