2016 WERC Awards Luncheon

DSCN3301-1024Announcing our 2016 WERC Awards Luncheon, so please save the date and join us!
Date: October 6, 2016
Time:  12 Noon to 1:30PM
Place:  Radisson Hotel & Conference Center, Utica NY

Our 2016 WERC Awards Luncheon is our opportunity to acknowledge and honor several outstanding women in the Mohawk Valley. It is also an important fundraiser that helps support the services we provide.

The women we serve can best express the results of the training and one-on-one assistance WERC provides – here is an example of one of the comments we received: “I want to thank you for your great job helping women to prepare for successful employment placement. I am very happy to have had the opportunity to participate in the Professional Pathways training. I found a job the same day I graduated from the training. I had a few job interviews before the training that did not have a positive outcome. However, after all the preparation and practice during the class, I was able to feel more confident and secure for the job interview, and as a result, I got the job. On top of that, the computer class was the best. I utilize the computer skills I learned every day in my new job. I hope your program continues to help many women like me to get back in the workforce. – Cristiana

The WERC Awards Luncheon provides an opportunity to support the economic advancement of families living right here in Oneida and Herkimer counties.  Your sponsorship, donation, or ticket purchase will fund essential career counseling, training and job readiness services enabling our participants to gain employment and become contributing members of their community.   For ticket, advertising, sponsorship and donation information, click here ⇒ 2016 WERC Awards Luncheon
